2016 Harvest Nearly Completed

With the exception of some cover crops like clover and radish, harvest 2016 is about wrapped, with what appears to be pretty typical successes and failures. New crop seeds are being cleaned 24/7 and millions of pounds of seed are being shipped out of this Valley each day.

Production Departments are swamped trying to get seed stock cleaned and delivered to growers in order to plant the crop for next year. Seed labs are inundated with new crop testing, and plant breeders are readying their next generation of turfgrass species for turf trial testing from coast to coast, including the 2016 NTEP Perennial Ryegrass trial.
