Oregon is literally on fire as dozens of wildfires are consuming thousands of acres in all corners of the state. It is raining ash over many metro areas. The largest fire in Eagle creek, 30 miles due West of Portland jumped the Columbia River to ignite a Washington fire. This has now merged with the Indian creek fire and are burning more than 32,000 acres, and is threatening the famous Multnomah falls lodge built in 1925. The Eagle creek fire was started by some teenagers who took fireworks into the woods!

That being said, it is extremely dry here without any measurable rainfall since June. Production fields have very poor post-harvest recovery, and new plantings will have trouble getting established.

The Oregon Seed industry, and especially your friends at TMI, are working overtime to get freshly processed seed on the road to you by the fastest possible means!
