Our overseeding customers wanted varieties that offered a smoother spring transition . . . This is why TMi developed varieties with less heat tolerance, and unusually high quality.

TMi has been unique in its approach to the overseeding market since it began in 1983. Its research and development program has carefully developed innovative products that specifically address the needs of the professional overseeding consumer. Dark green varieties that require less fertilizer, fine textured varieties for highly attractive turf, and most importantly, varieties that were selected for their transitional qualities.

Turf Merchants, Inc. sources proprietary turfgrasses from its own Research and Breeding Programs, from Private Breeding Programs as well as programs from institutions such as Rutgers, University of Florida, Texas A & M, University of Arizona, and Mississippi State University to name a few.
