Blackberry - Kentucky Bluegrass
Blackberry (A99-3108) is an America Type Bluegrass. Within the group of compact types, this cultivar exhibits similar growth and performance characteristics of the variety "America".

Blackberry has a higher density and finer leaf texture than most other compact types. It's low, compact growth makes for excellent turf including golf course fairways because it can be mowed at 1/2 inch cutting height. While good in shade, Blackberry possesses moderate winter dormancy and high summer patch and powdery mildew resistance.
